About Me  About Me: "SYNCHRONIZED" - DJAY HAZZEL Beyond Lymitz Entertainment introduces yet another new and talented mogul to the industry. Forget fussy routines and beauty salons DJay Hazzel is all about the free-flowing casual look. Her natural feminine charm and sun-kissed glow speaks volumes to everyone around her. DJay Hazzel, born as Antonique Clark in Kenosha, WI, is more than a DJ and entrepreneur. As she works hard to promote herself and assist other music artists, DJay Hazzel is also pursing her career as songwriter/engineer for Beyond Lymitz Entertainment. “I also plan to get my feet wet in the modeling industry.” DJay Hazzel, with a French and African-American heritage is nothing short of a renaissance woman. DJay Hazzel is influenced by some of the greatest artists in history, such as NAS, ARETHA FRANKLIN, STEVIE WONDER, MICHAEL JACKSON, JEWEL, JERMAINE DUPRI, and ALICIA KEYS. Hazzel is currently listening to new female artists like KID SISTER and JEAN GRAE, who plan to become the next generation of female hip-hop along with her. This young entrepreneur carries an old soul and a classic background in music from singing in the church and college choir at Georgia Southern University as well as playing the clarinet and piano as a teenager. Although, she has been songwriting since the age of 13, recording since she was 15 from tape decks to ProTools, and DJing for only 3 years, the flashing lights are still new to such a low-key and humble individual.

Hazzel is inspired in her songwriting by some of today’s serious economic and spiritual issues in the world. Most of her motivation that she shares comes from experience of good times, family issues, falling in and out of love, exposure to different cultures and death of loved ones. She hopes to reach the world with her lyrics and represent the underground women of hip-hop who work with pride. As she quotes “Live for nothing, Die for nothing.” When she is not working, she enjoys playing basketball, reading non-fiction, relaxing in the pool, and of course singing in the shower.
